Since Kuantan is famous for its beach, fresh seafood in town is a must for all visitors. You can get fresh shrimps and crab, also sea and fresh water fish. Kuantan is the capital state of Pahang, located midway in between Singapore and Kota Bahru at the coastline of Peninsular Malaysia. It is located at the mouth of Kuantan River and facing the South China Sea. It is no surprise that many visits Kuantan for its beautiful beaches.


By Plane

MAS, AirAsia and Firefly have direct daily flights to Kuantan from Kuala Lumpur and most of the cities. The airport I located just 15km away from the Kuantan city. You can just catch a taxi to anywhere around town.

By Car

Driving from Kuala Lumpur is around 3.5 hours via the Karak and East-West Highway. You can either exit at Gambang or Kuantan.

By Bus

There are many express buses around the major cities that go to Kuantan. Pudu Station Kuala Lumpur offers many buses daily at a cost of approximately RM25 per way.
